Gesso Resist

I came across a new technique on the Penny Black blog recently - gesso resist.   Using an unmounted stamp (for easy cleaning) you stamp with gesso.  After it dries, you apply distress ink.  The gesso resists the ink a bit, but not as much as an embossing powder resist, and you can see the brush strokes in the gesso.  Head over to the Penny Black blog for a video!

Random Backgrounds - Part 1

These ATC's were prepared for the upcoming swap with the Vancouver ATC Group.  I took backgrounds from my pre-cut ATC box and used stamps to make all of these.  When the backgrounds are already done, this goes quickly!
