"Saving" Flowers

 

I take a lot of photographs of flowers.  Then I fill a page in my sketchbook with little drawings of them.  When I want to use a flower in other artwork, I use these pages of sketches as references.  The anthurium in the photo above, for example, I used on these artist trading cards.
