I spent a morning with my gelli plate and some folded paper.  Fabulous fun.

I might make an art journal out of these, although they might make nice card backgrounds too.

Drawing Faces with Sharpies

I took an on-line mini-course with Alisa Burke recently called Portrait Play.  I took the course for inspiration rather than to learn anything, and every time I watch one of the videos I do get inspired to draw faces!  Here are the latest ones from my sketchbook.  I used a bold Sharpie to make the drawing, and then added a bit of watercolor.
