Japanese Artist Trading Cards

Inspired by Jill Foster,  I did these artist trading cards with watercolour pencils.  The pencils are great for getting in the tight corners of stamps, but allow the unexpected flow of watercolour in the larger background areas.

The geisha stamp is part of a Recollections set from Michaels.  The kimono is an unmounted stamp that was given to me by a generous friend at the stamp club on Granville Island; I'm afraid I don't know who makes it.
