I love to have many bookmarks around so that I can use one that matches the cover of the book I'm reading. (I can hear the ladies from the stamp club roaring with laughter.)
Besides, I wanted to use that new glitter paper. Glitter paper isn't usual for me at all, but I'm lovin' it.

Why would they laugh. Bookmarks matching book covers makes perfect sense. To me, at least!
Lovely! It made me think of my copy of Pigs in Heaven. A character in the book is called Turtle.
I love your Turtle bookmark and why should the girls at stamp club laugh. I wish I had bookmarks that matched my books as well but I'm just lucky if I can find something other than a store receipt when I need one. I never think to make them for myself.
