Text Messaging

This month Michelle Ward, over at GPP Street Team, is challenging us to "cut or rip lines of text from magazines.  Apply it to your page to create a message or use as an abstract background."  Another fun challenge.

Some of those who read my post about grids, applauded my use of baggies to sort my paper scraps into colours.  Well, I have another baggy for bits of text I've cut out.   Yeah, I'm a serious organizer.

For this page I chose text on white backgrounds, glued it down with gel medium and then stamped over it all using foam stamps and red acrylic paint.

I encourage you to follow this link and give it a try!

I like your stamped circles and hearts over the text, very effective.

Very interesting technique Susan. As for the baggies and organization, want to come to my house and practice. LOL

Susan - I can't stand how organized you are! Love the horizontal layout of text, and as eveyone has said, those red bits make for a catchy page. Thanks for sharing with the team!

Lovely page! I love to stamp with acrylics too - sometimes it looks almost smeared and nobody can tell if it was ment to be...The red here though, doesn't seam to smear and it really looks nice with the black and white!

I wish I was as organised as you - I do try, but I'm just not ;-) Great page, the colours work so well.

Really fun page! I like the use of the red stamps to bring it altogether.

That just about looks like a professionally designed 'bought' paper - mean this as a compliment! Red, white and black can't be beat.
