Another Calligraphy Experiment

This is another interesting experiment from Peter Halliday's book, Calligraphy Art & Colour.

I mixed gouache with blue watercolour and used a Speedball C-2 nib. Starting in the middle of the page, I added more water each time I turned the journal to write the next line.  Fun, and practice at the same time!

Susan,
Nice to see you join APR. I absolutely love callagraphy in general and your piece is so cool. I so wish I did lettering well, it's a love of mine that I just can't master, maybe it's the left handedness.
Best,
Jenn

Wow, your writing is so neat and perfect. Maybe I should learn calligraphy, would improve my chicken scrawl. Love the way the colour fades. Beautiful piece.
