Word of the Year
My word for 2014 is "faithful". I'm taking an online course taught by Joanne Sharpe, called "Draw Your Awesome Year", and one of our current assignments is to document our word in our journal.
I like the way your choice of verse focuses on the origin and source of faithfulness rather than simply on the word itself. Words in art and jewelry often seem to be mere slogans, devoid of meaning. Instead, you've gone straight to the heart of faithfulness and added subtext to the piece.

Ooh, I've always wanted to take a course from her. She's such an amazing calligrapher and artist. Great word for the year!
Sounds like a super way to start the year, like Jenn says a great word too.
