My dear friend, Janice, invited me to Raw Canvas last night, where we ate, drank, laughed, and descended to the "paint pit" to throw paint on canvas. Janice has already written a good blog posting about it, including lots of pictures.
My cactus is far from perfect and still needs its spines, but all in all I'd say my first painting session was a success. I'd love to have a real studio where I could throw paint around and not worry about the carpet. For now I'll have to finish up in the laundry room.
