Idea Books for Inspiration

6" x 6" Idea Book

I've mentioned challenges and prompts this week for art inspiration.  I also take classes, follow many blogs, and borrow art books from my local library.  When something that I see gives me an idea that I want to save, I put examples and journaling in an "Idea Book".  This one is 6" x 6" square and I have a much larger one for those BIG ideas. LOL

This is the beginning of a page in my Idea Book, my prehistoric Pinterest.  I want to remember this great card layout, so I glued it down.  

New Book Project

Handmade book, 6 x 6"

I keep a book to jot down ideas when they strike me.  I made a new one combining the concepts of junk journals and my own smash book, called the "slab book".  When I posted this on Instagram yesterday I used the #tag usingupscrabookpaper.  Sort of says it all, doesn't it? LOL
