Nebulas

The Design Challenge for the Vancouver Artist Trading Card Group this month is "Nebulas, Nails & Noodles". I could think of no way to combine these items, so I went simply with "Nebulas".

Nebula

These are done with alcohol ink and they are all unique because that's the way the inks behave!

I had a great time at the swap yesterday, even if it was a somewhat smaller group than usual. It was a chance to get to know some of the ladies a bit better.

I've got lots of nebulas left if anybody wants to swap!

Hi Susan! You left a comment on my blog asking what I colored the butterflies with. I used prismacolor colored pencils. I get the deep, rich color by alternating the colors, starting out lightly and progressively applying more and more pressure until the colors I want are completely blended together. I hope that helps- let me know if you have any more questions! Thanks for stopping by :)

I have one of those ATCs from Susan and they are lovely. It was a lovely intimate swap on Sun and I enjoyed the chance to visit with the smaller group. Nice talking to you Susan and I could hear all of the converstion, the down-side is not as many cards traded. See you next month.
